Delrin (also known as POM and acetyl) is a thermoplastic polymer. Characteristics of the Delrin are: low friction coefficient, non-absorbent of water, electrically insulated, resistant to harsh working conditions (high temperatures, chemical environment, erosion, etc.).

Laser cutting of Delrin

Delrin is cut very well leaving smooth and clean edges that are not sharp. The cut is precised and usually no need for additional finish is required.

Laser engraving of Delrin

laser engraving of Delrin hardly changes its color in the engraved area, but allows the material to be removed and is suitable for both gentle marking and material subtraction.

Applications - Engineering parts, machine parts, fasteners, parts for prototypes, parts for electronics.
